How to make Mango Lassi like a Pro!
If you are like me then you probably have a sweet tooth and on a hot summer day there is nothing as satisfying as a cold, thick and creamy Mango Lassi ! This recipe is so delicious. No longer do I have to wait to go to the Indian restaurants to get this drink, I can make it at home and so can you. Think of it as dessert or the end of a satisfying meal. I often drink it as a meal replacement because it can be quite filling.
Ingredients
3- 4 ripe champagne mangos
1 cup of greek plain yogurt
2 cups of milk ( Regular milk, almond milk or coconut milk)
1 tablespoon of sugar
Ice cubes
Optional ingredients for extra flavor and garnish
Fresh mint leaves
Cardamom spice
Crushed pistachios
Rose water
Saffron
Instructions to make Mango Lassi
To a blender add your peeled sliced mangos. Add your yogurt, milk and sugar and blend well till smooth. You may add ice to the blender and crush together or make your smoothie without ice and pour it over ice filled glasses.
Once done, garnish with one or several of the optional ingredients listed above, serve and enjoy!
Ingredients above should make at least 4-5 servings.
